Collected Animal Photography: Domestic or Captive

A place to show all my animal photography that wasn’t encountered in the wild (to see those lists, please check out my photography tab). I have been tracking every species of wildlife I encounter in the wild since August 2019, so I decided to expand that to include every kind of animal I photograph at all. Not only does it give a venue to display these shots I enjoy, but it is also an incredible avenue for learning more about these species and how they are related.

I have the animals sorted by Class, Order, and Family, and in the comments I have listed when and where they were photographed, as well as their natural range, conservation status, and whether I have see that particular species in nature (if they are captive). If they have been domesticated, I will occasionally list the area they are found if it is limited. For birds, I have changed how they are put in order from my other lists. For this, I have them sorted again by Class, Order, and Family, rather than the more inclusive eBird families, as eBird searches are very difficult for captive animals.

If you would like to order prints of any of these photos, please feel free to reach out!
